SHOTLIST - DVD Resources For Higher Education
Welcome to SHOTLIST Web Site
Shotlist is a growing bank of subject-specific video materials for teaching and research. The materials are distributed at minimal cost to all UK education establishments, who are also able to purchase sub-masters from which they are permitted to copy, re-edit, and re-format the programmes according to their own needs.
The Moving Images Network (MINET) consortium guides the project Shotlist, a growing bank of high quality video resources for institutions of Higher Education to enhance teaching and learning at home and abroad.
There are currently eight subject areas, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Engineering (including Maths for Engineers), Information Systems, Lectures, Practical Mathematics and Psychology. Shotlist provides specialist photography of events, be they microscopic or social, case studies, technical demonstrations, or one-off lectures by scholars of international repute.
Shotlist videos augment lectures, provide standards for laboratory practice, show students the real world of business and industry and provide core materials for distance learning by video and other combined computer-based formats.
They may also be of interest to companies and individuals seeking resources for study or training.
